⏯️ Scan Process Control
When you start scanning (the «🚀 Start Optimized Scan» button), three control buttons and time indicators appear.
⏸️ Pause / ▶️ Resume / ⏹️ Stop
- Pause – temporarily suspends scanning. The program saves the current progress. Useful when you need to free up computer resources for a while.
- Resume – continues scanning from the same point.
- Stop – completely terminates scanning.
⏱️ Time Display
On the right side of the control panel there are two indicators:
- Elapsed: time that has passed since the start of scanning.
- Time remaining: estimated time until the current stage finishes (the estimate is based on the processing speed of recent items and may sometimes be inaccurate; rely not only on the estimate but also on how quickly it changes).
📌 Note: The remaining time is recalculated dynamically and may change depending on video complexity (for example, longer videos require more time for frame extraction).
The progress bar shows the overall completion percentage (broken down by stages: metadata collection, feature extraction, comparison).
